Studio libellule is based on a computer, an 8-In/Out Midi interface, a 24-In/Out audio converter, an inline 24.8.2 analog desk, various rack processors and a monitoring system. Although it is not really suited for miking applications, some voice recordings have been done here for side projects with satisfactory results.
 
    For libellule's songs, everything is recorded directly to the computer without mic. The bass guitar goes into an active DI-box and a compressor, while the guitar passes through a preamp, a speaker simulation and a recording front-end. The signals are mainly recorded dry. Some synthesizer parts are played in real time with the guitar using a Midi converter.
