Founded in 1999, "libellule" is the studio and solo project of a musician with rock, funk, pop, reggae and jazz background. His electric and instrumental music stressing improvisation combines actually played instruments with programmed parts. The main purpose of libellule is to offer a vivid music so that the listener travels through various sensations and possibly feels the energy of the musician behind the rhythm and the harmony.

All songs are written, recorded and produced at Studio libellule, the den of a lonely musician rather than his laboratory. The studio combines analog and digital technologies based around a computer system.

The actually performed instruments are guitar, bass and synth stuff via Midi-guitar. The other parts are programmed, in other words, written directly in the software sequencer.
